What Is Hash Oil? How To Make Hash Oil

A concentrated form of cannabis resin is called hash oil. Black oil, Indian oil, red oil, honey oil, cherry leb and Afghani are some of the common names of hash oil. As compared to other cannabis products, hash oil is more potent because only pure marijuana resins are extracted from the plant material. Many marijuana users prefer hash oil because of its potency and long duration of effect. Obtaining hash oil involves a process similar to that of making a hash. However, in making hash oil, process is done repeatedly. There have been no reported cases of overdose even with the use of hash oil. Instead, this oil has a lot to contribute in the medical marijuana industry. People suffering from migraine attacks and other pain benefit from this.

Cannabis resin, which is the tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from the marijuana plant, can be made into oil for a stronger effect. Just two or three puffs using hash oil, head high effect is already experienced. The very high concentration of THC from marijuana that is made into oil is the one responsible for making a person stoned. For beginners, hash oil is not recommended because its effect is more than 10 times stronger than smoking an ordinary joint.  To enhance potency and effect, hash oil is put drop by drop on the joint, cigarettes and other marijuana smoking devices.

How To Make Hash Oil? Making Hash Oil

Hash oil is produced by using a solvent or extracting THC by boiling the hash. Many people think that using solvents to extract THC can cause harm to the body. Both processes can obtain oil that can be clear, dark brown, yellow and black color. It is a viscous substance with an average of 20% THC content. The yellow color hash oil creates a higher demand in the market. Many believed that the lighter the color of the hash oil, the more potent it is. Hash oil is usually smoked using marijuana paraphernalia. Only a few drops are required because hash oil is very potent.

Smoking using hash oil is intensified because of its high potency. It is a safer option of obtaining the high effect that marijuana is giving without having the carcinogens present in smoke. The whole cannabis plant can be used to make hash oil but if you want to yield a higher potency, use only the buds in producing hash oil. Depending on the solvent used, the color and viscosity of the hash oil may vary. THC concentration of hash oil is between 15%-20% and much higher in some cases.
