Growing White Widow Indoors
Just like most other marijuana strains the white widow strain can easily be grown indoors and in a hydroponic garden as well. The results of white widow plants grown in a hydroponic setup are phenomenal. Growing a white widow plant inside is a bit different than growing a white widow plant outside though. When you’re growing the plants inside you want to imitate the outdoor environment but this means using various supplies and creating a sophisticated setup.
Supplies Needed
There is a rather large list of supplies you need for an indoor grow. What you need will depend on your grow set up. There are many different types of hydroponic gardens that can be used so looking through them for one for your grow area is essential if you choose to grow with a hydroponic setup.
Most likely the main supplies needed would include lighting (high intensity discharge lamps) like 400w high pressure sodium bulbs fixture, and ballast, a growing media, a fan, pH upper or downer, grow container, timer, and of course the white widow seeds.
There are a lot of small items that will be needed as well but a shopping list should be made before picking everything up. Without a doubt the most difficult item to get on the list would be the lights. You will want to at least use a 400-1000w high pressure sodium light. With this light you will need the ballast as well. It would help to also have metal halide lights and fluorescent lights too.
Make sure you research the supplies needed for your particular setup to guarantee you have everything. Other supplies may also be needed for cloning, breeding, harvesting, drying, and storing.
