White Widow Growing Guide – Flowering Stage

Your marijuana plants will be in the flowering phase after the vegetative stage ends. The white widow plants will be almost fully grown by this point and now loads of crystals and hairs will start to show up on your white widow plants. If your white widow plants are growing outside they will be naturally nurtured but with an indoor growth you will have to modify the attention your marijuana plants get during the flowering stage.

Nutrient Solution and Lighting
The nutrient solution contents you use with your marijuana plants will have to be modified when your plants enter the flowering stage. Ideally your N-P-K content (nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium) should be 15-30-15. The white widow plants will generally need quite a bit more phosphorus than other contents while in the flowering stage.

It’s important not to give your white widow plants too much light throughout the day. Most growers will have lights on during the vegetative state for 18-24 hours per day but this will severely drop for the flowering state. Usually people will stick with 10-12 hours per day while the marijuana plants are flowering. Make sure you don’t let any light get in when it’s dark time for the plants as it can damage the hormones which are essential to the flowering cycle. If this happens then your marijuana plant will go back to the vegetative cycle and won’t produce any good bud.
