Growing cannabis in a greenhouse is the other type of outdoor cannabis crop, this is one where the pests and animals will not bother the plants, but it will still have all the advantages of natural sunlight.

The greenhouse offer someone growing cannabis several advantages, first it will be a longer growing season and if it is a heated greenhouse it can also be a year round crop. There are some people that use heat like a wood burning stove in greenhouses, this keeps the plants at the right temperature while still being grown outside with real sunlight.

Another advantage is the fact that there will not be deer, chipmunks, rodents or rabbits that will be able to attack the cannabis plants destroying the crop before it is mature enough to harvest. There is the fact that it will also not need to be protected from bugs like cutworms that can snip off the stems.

The greenhouse means that the plants are protected from the weather, such as wind and storms that could tear leaves off, break stalks or otherwise damage the plants. The soil can be monitored so that it has the proper pH level and changed if needed without problems sense these plants will be in pots rather than directly in the earth.

The greenhouse cannabis crop is the best of both worlds the plants are in pots where they can be cared for just as they would if planted in the house and yet they have the natural sun to help them grow to maturity.
