Whenever you are going to be growing marijuana plants you are going to need to buy a ballast or multiple ones if you have a larger crop in your grow room. Finding the right ballast may be difficult because there are various options. One type of ballast that a lot of people choose would be the digital ballasts however there are some issues with these ballasts.

There have been at least three noticed reports of digital ballasts causing people in the neighborhood to have a weak Internet signal and cable issues. The people who are working to repair the issue can tell what house it is coming from as well. While you can deny this there is still growing suspicion which could end with the police showing up at your door.

Keep in mind that one of the people growing weed plants that ran into this issue was only using a 600 watt ballast. This could be an issue with your wiring at home, using an extension cord, and various other things that could have been prevented. However people will still worry that there is a chance of this happening to them. To save the risk of this happening you will probably want to avoid digital ballasts but you might not need to.

Every product will have some technical issues and a lot of digital ballasts have been sold so a few having issues isn’t a surprise. Just make sure you research how to handle your ballast so you don’t cause any issues. Some things you could look at is your plug in outlet and if you are using an extension cord because that could cause issues. Make sure you grow your dope plants without the risk of damaging your neighbor’s power and attracting attention to your crop.
